Can you put hardwood floors in a mobile home? I don’t mean just one room. I have a double wide and want to put hardwood THROUGH OUT. I am concerned about shifting and getting messed up especially around the center where the two halves meet or will it stay once it’s in. I know Lowe’s and Home Depot will not install in a mobile. I called one company a few weeks ago and they said they could install it, but when i asked if it could be through out without any problems they said they would call me back after they talked to their supervisor and i never heard back.
I am concerned with the shifting so much because we are near an airforce base and there are several sonic booms a day and it feels like small earthquakes. Also, as I said it will be THROUGHOUT, so yes, this will include the kitchen and bathrooms.

I have to make a mobile (structure that is hung so it can flow freely) for a science project, based on a food chain believe it or not, so animals have to be the things that hang off it. I have no idea how I’m going to make it though or what I’m going to use to make it. But it really has to be made out of cereal boxes etc. Please help!

I have a piano, 35 gallon fish tank, solid wood bunk bed set, and a 60 inch TV (looks like a projection but is HDTV). Should the floor hold these without creating a problem? We live in a mobile home (trailer house) that was built in 1968. The dimentions are 12X60 with two doors on one side. It already has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Is it possible to add on a room to what is now the back door and since it is indeed a mobile home in a mobile home park(on a rented lot) it cannot be permanent. Is there any way to make it removable if needed, but still viable as a bedroom. How would you go about doing this if it is possible at all? Can you kind of make a lean to maybe? Does anyone have any advice? Thanks a lot.
