I have a 1968 Fleetwood Mobile Home that I live in next to a Expressway in California, believe it or not it gets chilly and noisy. The inside is wood panel and the outside the typical metal paneling.
We don’t want a big mess we have new wall to wal carpeting and new interior and exterior paint. I want to insulate it quick, easy and no mess.

I recently purchased a mobile home. Few of the windows work properly and based on a somewhat good eye i can tell it is because the home has settled over the past nine years since it was installed. Any ideas or suggestions on how to alleviate this problem would help. I know i need some hefty hydraulic jacks. shims of some sort and make shift water level to make sure everything ends up at the same level. This is pretty much all i know. I have some experience with homes but not mobile homes. I am guessing it is pretty much the same. Should i use pressure treated shims or cedar or what? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank You.

I will be using regular concrete blocks on footings poured prior to mobile being moved in. I will have to build foundation after moving mobile over footings. Thanks

What products are best for repairing leaks around the edge of a mobile home, and to coat the top as well? Apparently there is a small leak that travels down the wall. This was only noticed because of the water stain at the base of the wall after removing the carpet. There is also a small leak in the middle of the bedroom ceiling which is also in need of a product that will do the job.
